Book Review: Your Forever Love by Layla Hagen

Great love story! Pippa and Eric are honest and loveable. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Your Forever Love by Layla Hagen

Eric Callahan is a powerful man, and his sharp business sense has earned him the nickname Shark. Yet under the strict façade is a man who loves his daughter and would do anything for her. When he and his daughter move to San Francisco for three months, he has one thing in mind: expanding his business on the West Coast. As a widower, Eric is not looking for love. He focuses on his company, and his daughter.

Until he meets Pippa Bennett. She captivates him from the moment he sets eyes on her, and what starts as unintentional flirting soon spirals into something neither of them can control.

Pippa Bennett knows she should stay away from Eric Callahan. After going through a rough divorce, she doesn’t trust men anymore. But there’s something about Eric that just draws her in. He has a body made for sin, and a sense of humor that matches hers. Not to mention that seeing how adorable he is with his daughter melts Pippa’s walls one by one.

The chemistry between them is undeniable, but it’s the connection that grows deeper every day that has both of them wonder if love might be within their reach.
When it’s time for Eric and his daughter to head back home, will he give up on the woman who has captured his heart or will he do everything in his power to remain by her side?

4 Lovely Kitties!

Don’t you just love, love? It is the most powerful thing on this earth. I love romance books because they make you love. Even more than you thought you could. This is the first book I’ve read by Layla Hagen and the only book I’ve read in The Bennett Family Series. After finishing this book, I’m so eager to get to the rest of the books. I wish I would have went ahead and read them in order, because I’m weird like that and don’t like to go out of order. I was offered an audiobook review copy and I just couldn’t pass it up. I love audiobook and romance so it was a win, win. Just getting some background, so if I don’t know things from the first two book, you’ll know why. The book says standalone, but there are always small things that pop up that I love to read from previous books.

Eric and Pippa were a couple to remember. This story takes you on a love story unlike a lot of the others. Both Pippa and Eric are not looking for a relationship. They both have heartaches from the past that are still on the mend. Eric is focused on his daughter, Julie. Pippa is focused on everything but men. They think they have everything figured out until they cross paths. The chemistry between them is undeniable.

The characters in this book were just great. They stole my heart with their love story. Every turn was honest. This book is full of laughs, heartache, and surprises. One I won’t soon forget!

Thanks to InkslingerPR for providing the audiobook for review! I truly love the book!
