Witty, wildly addicting, and scary at times. This over the top Wattpad story will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time. Colleen is out of control.
Too Late by Colleen Hoover
5 addicting stars!!!
Omg you guys. I had to rate this 5 stars on the sheer fact that I was SO addicted to this story. It’s super far fetched, but I really didnt care. I read this in one sitting, minus the 6 chapters I read back in October before all this craziness. This is classic CoHo and totally new twisted CoHo. I didn’t know what to think after reading some parts, but it was like a trainwreck, I just couldn’t look away. Not to mention it’s free on Wattpad!
The epilogue to the epilogue was posted today (4/20) so I can rest easy that the story is complete… finally.
And I really want some Coconut Cake.
“Trains and buses stole my shoes and now I have to eat raw squid.”
I love Colleen for so many reasons. She is kind and generous, but also so humble so she feels uncomfortable when people say things like that about her. So Colleen, I’ll just say that you are out of control, but I loved every second of it. You could do whatever you wanted with this book and it WORKED. I felt like I was on a soap opera and it was magnificent.
With that said, something beautiful came out of this on the Too Late Discussion page on Facebook. So many women got to share their stories about sexual assault, consent, victim blaming, etc. It turned into more of a support group and that was awesome. I don’t post much, but I read almost everything and it was great to see so many women come together and talk about such a taboo subject. Talking about it helps and also knowing what consent is helps. So, great job Colleen for making that sort of accidental awesomeness.
Waiting for each chapter to be posted was pure torture. Especially after a certain epilogue. I just stared at my computer screen, thinking “What? This can’t be it. I’m going to pretend I didn’t read that.” Then, the next day she came through with a “just kidding guys” UGH COLLEEN! You are a horrible person, and by horrible, I mean awesome. The epilogue to the epilogue was just what I needed and now I can rest easy.
I actually really enjoyed the story without the epilogue I thought it left it open, but it still felt complete. The last chapter made me laugh and I liked the way it was left.
I’m not going into any specific details because you really just need to experience it for yourself, especially now that it is all written. It was such a fun ride going through each chapter with everyone and Colleen. One of my favorite experiences. I won’t forget it.
“Worries flow from her lips like the random words that flow from her fingertips. I reach out and try to catch them, clenching them in my fists, wanting nothing more than to catch them all.”
♥ ♥ ♥
“He unclenched his fists and dropped her worries, unable to catch them for her. But she picked them back up and dusted them off. She wants to be able to hold them herself now.”
Also, this is absolutely FREE! I mean, how much better can it get?
Now, I absolutely can’t wait for her next novel It Ends With Us. <<<Preorder it! I have been seeing some stellar reviews for it and I am SO JEALOUS.
