Cleansing facial mask from turmeric

Spices can be useful not only in the kitchen. For example, turmeric improves general circulation in the vessels of the skin, smooths small wrinkles, eliminates irritation and redness, reduces inflammation of the skin.

Facial masks from turmeric improve the complexion, the general condition of the skin and have a rejuvenating effect. Try to make a special cleansing procedure using this fragrant spice. It consists of two parts.

Step 1.
Mix two tablespoons of cosmetic clay for face skin with 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Spoon a third part of the mixture into a bowl and dilute it with some water. Then add two drops of lavender essential oil. (The remaining dry mixture can be stored in a tightly closed jar.)

If you have dry skin, apply the mask with a thin layer, if the skin is oily - with thick layer. Keep the mask for 10-15 minutes and then rinse with cool water.

Step 2.
To increase the effect of the mask, steam skin of the face out. Usually various toxins and fat are accumulated in pores, and steam will help to open them and make the skin more susceptible to the effects of turmeric.

Boil two liters of water and pour it into a large bowl. Add three drops of lavender essential oil, two drops of clary oil, a drop of rose oil and two drops of turmeric oil (or 1/8 teaspoon of turmeric powder).

Wait until the water cools down and bend over the bowl. You can cover the head with a towel. Steam out the skin for 7-15 minutes, and then rinse with cool water.

Please note that the procedure should be made in this order – at first mask, and then steaming. Otherwise, the clay can clog pores.

It is enough to make this procedure once a month for owners of sensitive skin. If you have normal or oily skin, the mask can be applied every week. The results will be noticeable after two or three procedures.
